Tēnā Kōutou, I am a Chartered Accountant with experience in risk, tax, audit, and financial compliance. In my formative years I worked at Te Rūnanga O Tūranganui-a-Kiwa (the first time in the early 2000’s) and Tūranga Ararau, then Inland Revenue and ANZ Bank and am back again as the CFO, returning in May 2023. From a reporting and accountability perspective these roles taught me the importance of policies, processes and due diligence within an Iwi, Public, and Private perspective. 
 I aspire to work with roopu that genuinely demonstrate a social and environmental obligation to their rohe, with mana moana and mana whenua objectives. The focus for me is on maintaining our most precious resource; waterways, a genuine care for our environment, and empowering ōku tāngata, via consultation, investigation, and implementation of sustainable practices.
